Graphene-supported 2D cobalt oxides for catalytic applications

نویسندگان

چکیده

Graphene-supported, highly reduced, high surface area CoO thin films, produced by straight-forward NaBH4 reduction of cobalt nitrate in a sonicated DMF suspension bulk graphite, are active for low temperature CO oxidation.

Graphene nanoflakes functionalized with cobalt/cobalt oxides formation during cobalt organic framework carbonization.

In this contribution, we present the synthesis and carbonization mechanism of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) based on cobalt and terephthalic acid, with detailed attention to the carbonization mechanism of cobalt-based organic frameworks. The evolution of the unique morphology of carbonized cobalt organic frameworks induced by temperature allows the synthesis of a hybrid of multi-layered carbo...

Keggin heteropolyacid H3PW12O40 supported on different oxides for catalytic and catalytic photo-assisted propene hydration.

Catalytic and catalytic photo-assisted hydration of propene to form 2-propanol in gas-solid regime at atmospheric pressure and 85 °C were carried out by using a heteropolyacid (POM) supported on different oxides. Binary materials were prepared by impregnation of H3PW12O40 on different commercial and home prepared supports (TiO2, SiO2, WO3, ZrO2, ZnO, Al2O3). Some of the composites were active b...

Enhancement in the reducibility of cobalt oxides on a mesoporous silica supported cobalt catalyst.

The silylation of SBA-15 enhances the reducibility of cobalt oxides on a SBA-15 supported cobalt catalyst, and consequently increases the catalytic activity for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis of hydrocarbons from syngas and selectivity for longer chain products.

Hydrothermal synthesis of nitrogen doped graphene supported cobalt ferrite (NG@CoFe2O4) as photocatalyst for the methylene blue dye degradation

A magnetic NG@CoFe2O4 photocatalyst was developed via a facile hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) techniques. The CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were found to have a size between 100-150 nm and were unifo...
